Experience at Academy
Hello all, my name is Jack Malmsheimer or as the students know me Mr. M! I am a Keene State College senior pursuing my Physical Education degree. I got the privilege to work at Academy School with Matt Johnson and all the students for seven weeks out of the fourteen that I will be student teaching, which turned out to be an amazing experience. Mr. Johnson taught me a tremendous amount of skills and new activities to teach at my next placement, which will be Keene Middle School. I had a blast dancing with and learning from every student and hope they learned a ton from me. My goal as a teacher is that the students take what they learned in Physical Education, outside of the school and work hard on being active everyday. Always remember a healthy heart, leads to a healthy mind.

Jump Rope For Heart
We are encouraging our students to ask for donations to benefit the American Heart Association. Several students have already began collecting money, and are getting their prizes! A BONUS for the first student to mention this post, and tell me the 3 best ways to keep your heart healthy. Thanks for your time and effort everybody. Every little bit counts.

Fun with scarves
Kindergardeners having a great time with some scarves. Scarves are a great way to practice catching skills because they are easy to see and are slow moving.
Students have to keep their eyes on the scarves as our huge fans shoot them in the air!

Recess Club
18 boys and girls in 3rd and 4th grade come down to spend recess with me in the gym. Every few weeks we are changing the students and the activity. Currently we are in our last week of the Kickball Club.
